Betting rules:

  • Pass Line Bets: Craps shooter’s first dice rolling is known as "Come Out Roll." Craps player is announced winner if there appears 7 or 11 but if there comes 2, 3 or 12, player looses the bet, which is also called ‘Craps’. If there appear remaining numbers like 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10, it is called "Point." If shooter makes a Point, he continues rolling the dice till either ‘Point’ number or 7 appears. If ‘Point’ is rolled before 7, Pass Line betters are announced winner but if 7 is rolled before ‘Point’, all Pass Line betters are announced losers. These bets have house edge as low as 1.414%.

  • Place Bets – Rolling 4 or 10 pays off 9:5. The numbers between 10 and 5 are called true odds that have a house edge of 6.66%. Rolling 5 or 9, brings the pay off 7:5. Rolling either eight or six, with odds at 6 to 5 pays off 7:6 that has a house edge of 1.51%.

  • Seven – Most of the casinos usually pay 4:1 on the appearing of seven while true odds are considered between 5 - 1. High house edge of 16.66% makes it poor bet.

  • Eleven – It is almost similar to ‘seven bet’ but casino pays 14:1 though the odds are 17 to 1. This bet also bears high house edge.

  • Buy Bets – Under this option, player pays 5% to get odds on all the numbers but the bets placed on four or ten are more profitable because these reduce house edge from 6.66% to 4.76%.

  • Hard Ways Bets – These bets are made on four, six, eight and ten and pay 9:1 on the appearance of 6 or 8 and seven to one. True odds are four and ten. Under this betting system, house edge becomes considerably high as 9.09% and 11.11% respectively.

  • Come Bets and Don’t Come – These ‘even money’ bets have 1.414% and 1.402% house edge.
